Compulab IoT Edge Gateways are highly customizable and cost effective industrial computers designed for Internet of Things connectivity and remote control and monitoring applications.
IOT-GATE-IMX8PLUS IoT Edge Gateway is built around the NXP i.MX8M-Plus System-on-Chip.

IOT-GATE-IMX8PLUS RSS Feed in order to receive automatic notifications about software updates.

Important – Mandatory U-Boot Update

IOT-GATE-IMX8PLUS / SBC-IOT-IMX8PLUS U-Boot release 3.1 (12-Mar-2026) is required for new deliveries.
Customers running custom U-Boot must update their U-Boot to support these deliveries.

This release uses U-Boot 2023.04, based on NXP lf_v2023.04, and adds support for additional LPDDR4 models: Kingston, ISSI and Etron.
