CL-SOM-AM57x: Linux: Manual Installation

Introduction

This article provides an introduction on how to install the Linux kernel and the example root filesystem image on the CompuLab CL-SOM-AM57x System-on-Module / Computer-on-Module. The installation can be done on the following storage:

• Internal eMMC storage
• External SATA drive
