This Debian rootfs comes with a default sudo user compulab:

cl-debian login: compulab
Password: compulab

This Debian rootfs comes without default root password. The root password has to be set at the very first login:

Debian GNU/Linux 10 cl-debian ttymxc0

cl-debian login: root
You are required to change your password immediately (administrator enforced)
New password: 
Retype new password:
